As the Covid-19 pandemic began to wreak havoc across the globe, we too felt the initial panic of ‘what now’?
As our clients took time to set up new, unfamiliar operations, we used this downtime as an opportunity to add value to the situation. With that, Fox & Co created a Covid-19 PSA of our own!
Acknowledging the need for effective messaging during the Covid-19 Pandemic, our creatives got to work producing a lighthearted series of 5 social snackable videos, Instagram and Facebook stories and a sticker pack, which we hoped would not only entertain, but resonate with our audience. And we did it, within a week!
As the world navigated through new times of uncertainty, our team became incredibly aware of the multitude of messages being shared on social media platforms.
With that, we wanted to create a series that would grab attention and evoke action. Our intention was to use our skills to create a campaign of important messages, echoing the CDC, that would cut through the clutter with beautiful design, considered animation, and lighthearted humor to bring just a moment of joy to those watching.
With everyone sharing similar content, we wanted to make sure our messaging was factually correct and aligned with the recommendations of the CDC, but also visually appealing in that it brought through a narrative that highlighted shared experiences at the time.
As the whole world went online in search of a shared experiences, #inthistogether, our aim was to produce a series of animations that remained relevant in a short amount of time.
With a 24hour production timeline, we created a structured workflow that would allow us to play with visual analogies and plug in new messaging. Our videos were viewed all around the world, and picked up by an audio studio, Defacto Sound in the US, who jumped on board to produce sound design and audio mixes for our campaign.
